As Donald and I polish our serving silver, decorate the house, make our check list for when each food item goes into the oven... (we're organized this year! We have a planner of what food goes in the oven at what time) to make our 4pm dinner deadline, I think about the opportunities I've had especially over the past two years.
This will be my first Thanksgiving in Texas.
No matter what you do to celebrate this holiday (for me at least) it's about FOOD. And thankfulness of what I have.
On that note there is a prayer I've memorized and recite on these special occasions that I'd like to share with you. It rhymes and rolls off the tongue easy as pumpkin pie!
This year, I'll be thinking of you and trying to work in a line about my faithful readers.
