Time for Planning

Q4 is when I prefer to plan for the upcoming year rather than waiting until January. This way, I can enter Q1 with my strategy already set and ready to tackle the new year with confidence. To me, it feels so anticlimactic to create a plan in January and then put it into action. Where's the anticipation, and mental preparation, the pause of satisfaction when you have to turn around and implement the plan you set into place?

Some well laid plans fall through, much like in 2024.

This year will be remembered as "God taketh away" for me.

Some individuals grumble about having a tough year due to financial struggles, not acquiring a new car, or facing unfavorable circumstances. I'm not among those individuals. I consider myself one of those persistently grateful people. Every year is a gift, though I have to admit that 2024 may not feel quite as vibrant for me.

It was a bad year. Close to devastating. Yet, I’m still standing. I have my family, my dogs, and my passion for writing.

When it comes to my publishing, I anticipate 2025 to be an exciting year for releases. I have a lot in store.

Release Dates

  • A Blind Curve - January 30th
  • Pyromage 2 - April 24th
  • Blood Money - July 31st
  • His Out of Office Romance - October 30th

Progress

  • A Blind Curve is ready. Just needs a cover (Which is in progress)
  • Pyromage 2 - revisions are in progress
  • Blood Money - First draft underway
  • His Out of Office Romance - Outline complete

What This Means for You

You'll have plenty to read from me!

I'm working on the famed "Ultimate Editing-Revisions-Release-Marketing Plan Worksheet" for 2025. Although I have established specific dates, I'm also taking a more flexible approach. I've intentionally set these deadlines to be conservative, allowing myself ample time to finish everything.

As I move forward into my new normal, I'm uncertain about whether I can maintain the schedule I used to follow. However, since there's no one relying on me for a night out, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

Until next time...
...happy reading!
